I knew this wedding was going to be amazing from the outset.  I had known Summer since she was just a teenager,  when we first meet she was just falling in love with this boy Christian who would eventually ask her to be his wife.  So you could imagine how excited I was when she asked me to be her photographer!!  These two share such a beautiful love for each other and surrounded by family and friends it was one of those days that just leaves a little bit of magic in your soul.

If you haven’t got the latest issue of  Bride & Groom Magazine then head on out and get one, they have given 6 pages to this gorgeous wedding and it looks amazing in print.

I am finally blogging the amazing wedding of David + Amy.  I still cannot believe this day really happened, it was beyond perfect.  Small petite weddings at Fiordland Lodge are always just a little bit special and this one did not fail to impress.  The deep love these families have, their sense of  adventure and their laughter are the things that made this wedding unique.  Amy + David got married on a Glacier on Mt Tutako which is the highest peak in Fiordland National Park.  It was perfect weather from start to finish, one of those amazing Fiordland days when it’s warm and still and beautiful.  Arriving back after the ceremony we headed up onto the ridge above the Lodge to have some quite time just the two of them soaking in the fact that they just got married on a MOUNTAIN 🙂  Then back down to join the guests for Clay Bird Shooting and Croquet as the sun set.  It was a perfect day and a good lesson for couples planning their day.  It is your wedding day, “make it your own” 🙂  Florals by Shani at Ambrosia Designer Florist
